A downloadable game for Windows

Cora wakes up in the main hall of an abandoned train station. She has no memory of what happened before she woke up and an ominous silence is surrounding the area. It’s foggy outside the windows, the doors are locked and something disastrous seems to overtake the building… There are others, lost and confused like Cora. And there are also the shadows and deformed creatures lurking and crawling in the dark, waiting to draw them into the deep. Will she be able to find a way out?

this deserves more attention and recognition to be put in the same category of those remarkable RPG horror maker games, it offers an unique horror experience (just a good blend in tension, creeps, without overused jumpscares) with a touch of inspiration by the silent hill/resident evil vibes, though i really recommend this to those who loved Desert Nightmare or Schuld since I was more familiar connecting the impression I got between them from playing. The ending was satisfying (we don't talk about how i teared up from seeing the three's reflections and Andrew having their companies), from the mysteries and clues connected up to it developed nicely along the way with the Easter eggs/secrets (got most if not all of them!) I think it has a bonus room accessible since I finished it, but I have to admit that I don't know how can I access it since I didn't get to read the end dialogue after credit properly, though I still keep the save of new game in separate file and opening it just brought me back to new beginning, no bonus room anywhere I explored from playing again a bit.

Thank you so much! In a way I'm actually happy that I managed to make you emotional with my story. To be fair - the bonus room is quite difficult to find, maybe I should have placed it somewhere at the beginning. Let's say you can find it in the second half of the game and it's a door that was there before but couldn't be opened. It's nothing absolutely crazy in there though, just a tiny reward for those wo decided to play the game again.

after the café segment, i am unable to select any menu options other than "inventory" and "quit" i can't save even while in saferooms, making it difficult to progress any further

Hey sunlauncher,
I've never heard of that issue before and it sounds rather random to me.
(Doesn't mean it's not true, had a lot of weird bugs during beta testing.)
I could take a look at your latest save file if you're willing to upload it
and share the link. (cherryshare.at for example)

had some issues but here's the link https://www.mediafire.com/file/9kcsu83zgkm0dlq/Save01.lsd/file

Thank you for your patience! So even though I do get why this happened to you, I still have
no idea how this happened in the first place. Seems like the RPG-Maker still has a mind of it's own or I'm just missing something.
Might have to check that again eventually. But anyway, I've used your savefile to get past this issue and saved after the
sequence in the cafe. So if you want you can continue with this one right here:

(Will delete this once you have it.) Sorry for the inconvenience and I hope you have enjoyed the game so far!

that fixed it! excited to see the rest of the game :)

Hello, I will buy your game points for 100 dollars

Noticed in “readme” that “some anti virus programs might want to check the application once because of it's encryption”.

Usually, when my antivirus program finds something suspicious, it let me choose if I want to open a game or not, which isn’t the case with this game as McAfee blocks it entirely.

Thank you for the feedback though it is rather unfortunate.
I've "packed" the entire game folder into the game.exe using "Enigma Virtual Box" so random
people wouldn't be able to edit the game itself so easily (which happened before sadly).
But that seems to cause some issues with said anti virus programs.
Yea, I'm not happy about this either.

Yeah, you see the problem is that you have McAfee installed. That antivirus in the same realm as Avast, they do more bad than good, they are so bad that they can flag as virus an empty bat that you created.

I think there is a bug in section 1 B... I read the note in the office but the cutscene doesn't appear. Is it a bug? Or did I something wrong?

I can't really tell you since I don't know what you did so far. Are you sure you've read the right note? (There are 2 readable sheets of paper in said office and there is pretty much no way to miss the cutscene.) If it doesn't work, you could also start a new game and (*spoilers*) head straight to the cellar to bypass that area from before.

I read the note saying "Return in the darkness~" in the office and another note saying "Do not let fear~" in the lettered room. Is there more note which I should read to trigger the cutscene? I'd like to play the game in standard way, so I don't want to skip this area😭

If you have access to the room with the writing on the wall and the "don't let ..."-note, you should have a crowbar already which means you're not doing anything wrong or are missing something. You just went a different path. (So you're technically in section 2 now.) There is no "standard" way to play the game, it's changing by your choices, where you go etc. So you can't see everything in just one playthrough. I guess next you'll have some puzzle work to do. I hope I was able to clear things up for you a little bit. :-)

Good game! I like the story & the atmosphere. looking forward for your next project. I make some part of video, enjoy my gameplay... :)

Thank you!

Okey i had to figure at first because I thought it was a bug , but is just the weird camera angles sometimes that are confusing, cool game tho

Cool atmosphere and vibe, I love these RPG games. Good work.

A wonderful game! This really did feel like 'what of silent hill were in RPG Maker?' type of game! The atmosphere, monsters and aesthetics were all amazing. Though I really loved the camera angle switches, especially in the beginning where you can fully see the doors of the bathroom as you walk closer. Small details like that are always a nice touch! I noticed that some people may have had issues, but it worked flawlessly for me!

There is a nice mix of puzzle-solving, story progression and horror elements. I definitely recommend anyone to give this a try!

And thank you and everyone involved for making such a wonderful game!

Thank you so much for your feedback! I really appreciate it. :-)

Hello, I'm experiencing a game breaking bug that happens at a specific point in the game *SPOILERS BELOW*

-

I'm at the part in the train where Anthony is being held by the creature, and suddenly I get an error message saying "Could not open sko_laternenwei°level file".  There's a similar filename in the folders I could find, but this specific spelling seems to not exist, causing the issue. It's rather disappointing I couldn't continue past this part due to the error;; ((Let it be known, I've tried renaming the file myself, to no avail ): ))

(+1)

Well that's annoying. This seems to happen rather randomly to a few people, I thought that I caught all the possible error sources. I'm sorry you had to experience that. I've fixed it and updated the download link. So if you download the new version you can use your savegames from the previous one to continue. Let me know if you run into any other errors. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Thank you for the quick response!! I was able to make it pass that portion and continue (: Really loving the entire atmosphere and story for this game so far too!!

2003?

This game is incredible, and definitely a must-play. It's got a brilliant use of atmosphere, creepy monsters to avoid and a nice, intriguing plot! Also, it's got a great length (4-5 hours) and uses that time effectively. Download it!
